Our rugs are hand-knotted with love and passion by our skilled weavers at the workshop in the Cooperative. The colors are beautifully combined to achieve a stunning result. The symbols and patterns are inspired from nature.
The Beni Mrirt rug originates in a village called Mrirt in the region of Khenifra in the Middle Atla in Moroccos. Beni Mrir't is remarkably made from excellent wool quality tied heavily with double knots. Beni Mrir't rug is notably packed vertically on the loom using a metal comb called “Azzetta” in order to make the rug very silky and fine symbols. Thus it is entitled the Mrirt rugs remain to attract and fine art lovers and rug collectors,
